To honor the 90th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement we are dedicating
this edition to the celebration of Modernism and taking a look at how it influences and shapes our own product collection, old
and new.
The Bauhaus school was founded in 1919
in the city of Weimar, Germany, under the leadership of Walter Gropius (1883-1969) and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969).
Bauhaus designers and their students broke from tradition and developed radical concept that married architecture, industry, and design that had never been attempted before. Although the Bauhaus existed for only fourteen years its modernist legacy still serves as a benchmark for many designers today.
